in very serious trouble, and is expected to do something violent, and

support John Ironside or his extortion website.

John Ironside is publishing lies at
www.mustangpi.net and
www.mustangpi.org. Both of these names are theft of Mustang
Investigations' real website,
www.mustangpi.com. Both of these names are being filled with the same
lying website to hurt a small, honest, family-owned business, to force them
to pay John Ironside money.
I am the creator and owner of this website,
and my name is mentioned at the end of this statement, in a picture, to keep
my name off the search engines, as I want no extra embarrassment with my
name mentioned with John Ironside's name. I can be sued for libel for the
contents of this website, and I will accept the claim, and immediately file
a defence, for the claim against me will not prevail. Unlike a free website
anyone can slap together and publish anonymously, this is a proper domain,
and it has a registered owner. What you are about to read is the truth, and
is the statement of myself, the true owner of this website. If this
statement stands, it is because it is the truth, and I am not being sued for
it. Why, then, is
www.about-mustangpi.com and the others, still standing? They are
standing because a claim for libel is a complicated and expensive thing to
produce, and I cannot afford a lawyer. Also, unlike me, John Ironside is
hiding behind several de facto aliases, so it makes it extra difficult to
sue him. Several websites stand, and you have to decide for yourself which
one of them tells the truth. I do not hide the ownership of my website,
while John Ironside does. I write the truth in the first person, while John
Ironside lies, and writes in the third person, through a fake group, whose
names are not mentioned, either. That should tell you which website to
believe, as normal people do not act as John Ironside does.
John Ironside is writing every word at
www.about-mustangpi.com, and the two stolen imitations of Mustang's
official website, yet he is pretending he isn't. He pretends that a group of
people, called the "Friends of Crowe," are writing it, and that's a lie. The
group is a fabrication, and I don't know any of these so-called "friends" of
my indie magazine, Crowe. John Ironside is doing this because he wants his
lies to have credibility. He is also pretending he doesn't own the
website...but he does. It's just that he has tricked other people into
buying the domains for him, and he isn't telling those people what he is
doing with the websites. While controlling these websites and hiding behind
domain owners who haven't been told what he is really doing, and, hiding
behind a fake team of authors, posting my magazine covers without
permission, using "friendofcrowe@hotmail.com"
as his only email contact, pretending the authors are friends of mine and
using my magazine's name, John Ironside continues to write lies about
Mustang Investigations and Investigative Research Group (IRG).
Neither Mustang nor IRG have been charged
with anything he is claiming, nor are they under any official investigation
by any government agency. The website is an extortion attempt against
Mustang Investigations, and mentions IRG in the hope that embarrassing the
two of them will lead them to come together, and share the expense of a
settlement payout to John Ironside. I have him, on tape, admitting that, in
a voicemail he left on my answering machine. John Ironside believes that
instead of spending $250,000.00 to fight him, plus losing business, Mustang
will pay him at least $50,000.00 in a cash settlement if he just keeps his
website up, and keeps it filled with enough innuendo to lose Mustang a
contract every now and then.
Before you lose interest, let me tell you
that John Ironside is a child abuser.
Let me tell you that he has been charged with
criminal harassment, and threatening to behead a mother and her son.
Let me warn you that sadly, this angry and
frustrated person has a short and unsuccessful time in the military behind
him, even though all of it was during peacetime.
He is out on bail, with a trial scheduled for
December, 2008. He has an active peace bond against him.
As for the child abuse, I can't tell you
exactly what he did without sworn affidavits, but what he did was a lot more
than spanking, and it was sadistic and humiliating in nature. Those are the
facts I can attest to.
John Ironside's stepdaughter has Cystic
Fibrosis; his son has Autism. For the past ten years, John Ironside has
barely worked to support his children, preferring instead to be a welfare
recipient, when not working for the most part as a security guard, or a
bouncer.
I met John Ironside around seven years ago.
We were only acquaintances. Then, he told me he was owed money by an
investigation company called IRG, and he wanted me to pester them as a
"reporter," using my indie mag, Crowe. Back then, I believed him, and, I
felt sorry for his special needs children, so I went along with it. He built
a webpage on his own website making IRG look like they were being mean to
his special needs children by giving him a hard time about the money he said
he was owed, and he sent it to IRG, telling them it would soon be posted
publicly online, and, I pestered IRG. It worked, and in late 2004, John
Ironside got a cheque from IRG for over $8,000.00, and he gave me $200.00
for my trouble.
Then, in 2006, he came to me again, and asked
to use this website to embarrass a former landlord with. I had set this
website up for video projects from my magazine, hence the name, with "TV,"
but it was too expensive to maintain. Having no use for it, I let him use
it. For almost a year, he wrote sensational stories about his former
landlord, Deborah Foote, and for whatever role my website played, in late
2006 he got a settlement of $7,500.00, of which he gave me $750.00.
Again, I believed him, and felt I was doing
something good. Again, he featured his two special needs children in the
website, and accused his target of willfully, and indirectly, harming them.
Also in 2006, and while the Foote material
was already on this website, he came to me, yet again, and said he was owed
money from Mustang Investigations. Yet again, I believed him, and thought I
was doing something good, helping a person who could not afford a lawyer. He
also promised me 10% of whatever he got for my trouble. I let him use my
website to complain about Mustang Investigations. For the third time in a
row, he featured his two special needs children on the website, and yet
again, he accused his target of willfully, and indirectly, harming them.
Only this time, after a year, his target didn't settle with him.
As the year wore on, the website had much
fewer visitors than he claimed it did, but then again, it's not against the
law to lie about how many visits a website is getting. The website also got
maybe a dozen real email responses, and most of them were from people
telling us to stop bothering Mustang Investigations. John Ironside and I
made up fake responses, and he posted them, as a faux show of support.
That's not quite illegal, either, and, I thought I was helping a friend with
a legit claim, but who couldn't afford a lawyer. A lawyer gets paid, so for
him using my website, I felt okay with getting 10% of whatever he got, as a
settlement. I also made a book parody, making fun of one of Mustang's
lawyers. That's all I did, as I never understood exactly what the fight was
about, and John Ironside didn't want me meddling with his materials, anyway.
Then he wrote and posted that Mustang
Investigations was under a police investigation, which was a lie. John
Ironside had asked for an investigation, and he felt that the fact that the
police had to answer his request–yes or no–was close enough to say that
Mustang was "under investigation" while he was waiting for their answer. The
police decided not to investigate.
John Ironside began to write long, juvenile,
insult-filled rants about Ann Swinson, the owner of Mustang Investigations,
and her son, Ryan Swinson, who has a senior position with the company they
both built. I questioned the worth of such material, and suggested that John
Ironside was making a mistake by writing it, and hurting his own chances for
a settlement. Still, that was what he wanted to do, so I let him continue.
In July 0f 2007, John Ironside stopped
claiming that Mustang Investigations was indirectly hurting his children,
and published a story, in which he claimed Ann Swinson was "Attacking
children," and doing so directly. This was the second big lie in a website
already filled with half-truths, and it made me vulnerable for a claim of
libel to be brought against me. Besides the costs, I would also suffer the
embarrassment of being found guilty of "libel." John Ironside said the story
was not illegal, and that I could not be sued for it, but if I were sued, he
said, it wouldn't work, and every newspaper in Canada would come to my aid
to defend me. I then offered him the website domain's ownership for a token
dollar, and he refused.
John Ironside said he only wanted to use my
domain for the credibility, notoriety and influence my magazine brought to
the material he was writing, but once he started publishing lies, he wanted
me holding the bag, too. He didn't just want my credibility for his
arguments, he wanted me to take all of the blame for his lies, and the legal
responsibility for his libel. What he told me was "fair comment" was not
something he wanted to take ownership of, himself.
John Ironside lied to me. He didn't want a
platform for credibility...he wanted a fall guy. He wanted a patsy. He
wanted me to take 100% of the risk. If his gamble paid off, great. If not, I
would be taking all the blame.
That was the end of John Ironside's
involvement with this website.
I went to Mustang Investigations, and asked
them if they would agree not to sue me if I took the website down and put up
a disclaimer, and they agreed. They were very nice to do so. John Ironside
moved to another domain, and I gave him a warning that his material was
about to be pulled down, and he posted a message on my website, informing
people of where his new website would be. I let him do that because I didn't
understand the whole dispute, and I still thought of him as a friend, even
though I refused to let him make me responsible for his lies. Also, he
promised me that he was going to be creating a legitimate website,
completely rewritten by a law student, with no lies. Well, John Ironside
lied to me, yet again.
That was the end of our friendship.
John Ironside's website,
www.about-mustangpi.com, and the two others bearing Mustang's address,
are simply a copy and paste of the former website, with all the lies
included, including the "Attacking children" story, which he wrote, and
which I objected to, and which he is still blaming me for, claiming that I
published it. That is a lie.
Everything he wrote at my website was
archived and presented as having been written by me, and republished with my
approval, which are lies. He included dozens of scans of my magazine covers,
without my permission, and wrote a story which I did not write, claiming
that I still supported him. He claimed that everything on his website was
being written by my friends, which is a lie. His contact email mentions "crowe."
He got somebody else to buy the domain for him, lied to that person as to
what he was going to do, and he registered it as being owned by the "Friends
of Crowe." Exploiting that stolen and fraudulent foundation, John Ironside
now continues with his extortion attempt against Mustang, using his
children's pictures for sympathy, contrary to the wishes of their mother.
I have nothing to do with John Ironside. I
have nothing to do with John Ironside's website, and I do not endorse him or
support him in any way. His website is his own worst enemy, and speaks for
itself. If you bother to read all of its over 1,200 pages, you will note
that it makes volumes and volumes of unproven claims, repeats itself over
and over, and is too angry to take seriously, as well as being
unprofessional in appearance, and poorly written. It is an angry blog,
presented in the third person, a screed against a former employer of only a
few months, masquerading as a popular and titillating exposé. But, it is
something which the general public has no interest in. Again, his visitor
stats are a lie.
Since meeting with Mustang Investigations, I
have learned that John Ironside was lying about them all along. I made a
mistake, believing John Ironside, because I thought he was legitimate, and a
friend. He is neither!
John Ironside is mentally ill, but his
illness is one that he can enjoy, as he cons people out of money, and cons
them into doing things for him. I and the others he is harassing cannot have
him jailed, or committed to a hospital. We have to fight him in civil court,
which is a long, complicated, and expensive ordeal. John Ironside knows
this, and shamelessly exploits it. He is a despicable abuser of our courts.
John Ironside also borrowed around $1000.00
from me, using my credit card. He only paid about a quarter of it back,
after more than a year and a half, as he refused to work, as usual. The card
is ruined, has been sent to a collection agency that is going to sue me, and
I am suing him for whatever I can get.
To review: John Ironside is a sick and
dangerous con man, a sadistic child abuser and extortionist with criminal
charges against him, out on bail and awaiting a trial for threatening to
decapitate people. He is a very talented manipulator, and, after knowing him
for over six years, in my opinion, is a narcissistic sociopath. He has
borrowed fortunes from private individuals and refuses to pay it back. He is
43 years old, largely unskilled and without a significant work history, and
employed as a delivery driver. John Ironside is pinning all his hopes for
success on a huge cash settlement from Mustang Investigations which is not
coming. He is close to being convicted, probably sent to jail, likely with
an order put against him not to be allowed to have an internet account. He
is getting increasingly desperate and dangerous. Take heed:
YOU MUST NEVER LEAVE HIM ALONE WITH YOUR
CHILDREN!
It is wise for you not to believe just
about anything he tells you.
Do not loan him money. Do not give him
your credit card to use, or let him use the numbers for even one
purchase, even if he gives you the money.
If you are a woman, do not allow him to
take nude photographs of you, for even though I can't say which women he
has done this to, he has taken pictures, and then used them for
blackmail, afterwards. Those are facts. He will ruin your life, as you
suffer in silence. As evidence of that, I offer you his lying profile
from the Plenty of Fish dating website. Email me, and I will send you a
copy of it, for the Firefox browser. If you don't use Firefox, I will
send you the text of it, along with attachments. The person he pretends
to be is a fabrication. He is a manipulator, addicted to head games, and
is using–yet again–pictures of his kids, exploiting them, as he uses
them as tools to begin a relationship with an unsuspecting woman. His
profile is especially long, as to make appeals to what all women in his
age group, on that website, want and need, even though he has none of
those things, nor is he interested in providing any of them. Peppered
with "LOL" and smiley faces, concern for puppies, the Rain Forest and
his children whom he "loves to bits," it is a trap.
He refused to contact his children for
almost half a year, and his son has Autism. Far from loving them "to
bits," he is utterly indifferent to his children, and is using them, yet
again, like he uses anyone he can. This is a person who will threaten to
ruin you if you let him, and who has no conscience, ending his profile
with a humble and non-threatening, "Sorry if I rambled."
It is the work of a serpent. He will
bring you misery, and then walk away, laughing at you. Stay away from
him!
He is heartless, and hunting for another
target to blackmail. If I do one thing with this statement, I will keep
him off that dating site, and force him to either use a paysite, or keep
his traps off the internet, as any further Plenty of Fish profiles will
be posted here, to warn others. Although he will take it down as soon as
he finds this statement, it is very appropriate that his profile address
bears the Mark of the Beast with its last three digits:
Do not allow him to move in with you, for
any period of time, no matter how sad a story he gives you about his
children. Do not let him use your computer, or attach an external drive
to it, for any reason, as he will be blaming any illegal activity on
you.
If he befriends you, realize that he is
probably setting you up to ask you for favours, and extortion and
blackmail, if you don't comply, or begin to change your mind. Don't let
him do anything for you, or accept any gifts from him, as he will use
that to shame you into doing things for him. Remember, he is a classic
user and manipulator, and he's very good at it.
Do not let him hold anything of value, or
any sensitive data, as he will either not return it, or will make copies
of it, to blackmail and extort you with. Do not email him anything you
don't want repeated or published. Do not hold any disks or other
portable data for him, and do not allow him to store files on your
computer. Just do not get involved with him, as he soon tangles you up
with his self-made trouble.
Do not write letters of support for him,
and do not share any secrets with him.
If you are employing him, know that he
has caused trouble, embarrassment, great expense and loss of business
for many of his previous employers, such as B and G Security
Consultants, Inc., whose business he largely and singlehandedly ruined
while it was struggling to begin, as he, as usual, used good people to
further his own ends. He uses you, and then moves on. He does not care!
He is undertaking a campaign to convince
one of our courts that he is a peaceful, kind, and fun person. It is all
a lie. The last time I spoke with him, it was when he was stalking me in
his car, in August, 2008. He dared me to sue him, called me a "fucking
idiot," and sped away.
That incident is telling. Besides
manipulation, John Ironside will try to intimidate you, pretending to be
a deadly, well-schooled martial arts expert, and a graduate of an elite
and mysterious military training program. After our friendship ended,
and, sick of his taunts as he tried to get me into legal trouble, I
challenged him to a fair and legal boxing match, in a gymnasium, with a
referee. He declined, as I'm his size, and outweigh him. If you are
either smaller than him, or ill, he'll push you around. I could tell you
about how he treated a woman who was sick with cancer, but I can't say
too much without sworn affidavits. Suffice to say, it is true, and if
John Ironside wants to rebut my statement, he can sue me, and we can go
from there. Unlike John Ironside, hiding with his fake friends and lies,
this is my website, and my statement, and my choice. I take full
responsibility for every word of this statement. I am not pretending
that this is being reported by anyone else. I own this website. I am
writing it. I take responsibility for it.
If John Ironside wants to sue me for
libel, he can sue me, and I will accept normal mail service, along with
an email notice of the claim, or, registered mail service of his claim.
If he attends my residence, I will call the police. But he's not going
to sue me, because he is a liar, and I tell the truth.
As a Christian, I take no pleasure in
publishing this statement, as it will wipe out John Ironside's
credibility, and cause him suffering, and, he is sick. It is only
because of my Christian beliefs that I let him max my card out, and he
knows that. If somebody is in the right, and suffering, I help them all
I can, including a loan of money, if I can do it. John Ironside looks
for people like me, to lie to us, and to use us, and take from us. He
allowed my Mastercard to be ruined, because he wouldn't do a little work
to pay me back. He does not care. He has no conscience. If a person such
as John Ironside gets what he wants, it's hard to tell what he really
is. But, once put to the test, you find he is using you, was lying to
you and plotting against you all along, will not help you, does not
care, and will simply move on, to find somebody else to use.
You and I would feel shame. John Ironside
does not.
I don't hate John Ironside, I only want
him out of my life, and to stop using my work for his criminal
activities. However, after attempting to reason with him, he has made it
clear that he does not care how much he hurts other people, so actions
such as this are the only things he will respect or understand. I don't
believe he deeply experiences or understands love. He has no conscience,
and regards all others as objects he has to possess, manipulate or
defeat, after he creates a pointless battle with them, and, that he is
unable to work with people or admit mistakes, or apologize for anything.
He needs medical help, but I can't order it. I also cannot give a place
to evil, and stand by as he continues to extort money, or lies to women
so that he may use them, as John Ironside is not acting completely upon
sickness. He knows what he is doing, and that it is wrong. That is why
he is pretending to be what he isn't. He is very sick; he is very evil.
He's going to get worse, as his schemes are close to complete failure.
He could still stop this madness, get
himself together, and get a decent job, but I no longer have any
influence, there. I don't even know why I would write anything positive
about him, given that he does not care about the misery he brought me,
and continues to bring. He's not the only one who isn't as successful as
he would like to be, and he's not special, in that regard. At age 43,
and with his intelligence, if this is what he wants to do, and if he
wants to bring an inevitable showdown between himself and the police,
then that is what he's going to do. It's a shame, but as I just said, I
have no influence with him. After I asked for my money, he called the
OPP on me, and got them to tell me to go ahead and sue him, and not to
bother him.
So, what can I do?
The police will not grab John Ironside
and ask him who the "Friends of Crowe" are, or who owns the domains that
he is using. The police will not and cannot simply throw John Ironside
in jail for being a liar and an extortionist, because the police will
not do the civil work needed to get the paperwork, and, I cannot afford
a lawyer to sue him with, over the content on the website
www.about-mustangpi.com, and the two others. If you are reading
this, it is because every word is true. Do not become involved with this
bizarre and dangerous con artist, who is about to lose everything and be
in much more serious trouble than he is now. Given all he has said and
done, and after knowing him for many years, in my opinion, when his cons
fail once and for all, he is likely going to place blame upon–and lash
out at–the first person he can find.
